Perched on the hillside on the south facing slopes of the Tenna valley this pretty farmhouse is pure picturebook Italy.
This farmhouse has been carefully restored by its owners maintaining original features while providing comfortable surroundings for its guests.
Casa Lucia is just two kilometres from the lovely village of Monte San Martino where you can see one of the few remaining intact poliptychs painted by the brothers Carlo and Vittore Crivelli in the village church.
For nature lovers this location is ideal for exploring the stunning territory of theMonti Sibillini National Park, renowned for its rare flora and fauna, including wolves, bears, chamoix, red and roe deer, eagle owls and many types of other raptor.
The park is a paradise for walkers and hikers throughout the year and is popular with skiers and snow boarders in the winter. Activities such as horse riding, quad biking, hot air ballooning and paragliding are all on offer in the area.
Nearby Amandola and the spa town of Sarnano are charming medieval towns with a good range of amenities and shops, as well as excellent restaurants serving delicious local delicacies such as wild boar, locally sourced lamb and pork, delicious cheeses and the essential pizza and pasta dishes.
Further afield is the Adriatic coast with its numerous seaside resorts around 45 minutes drive away. Here you will have the opportunity to dine at any number of fine beach side fish restaurants and take a dip in the Adriatic's azzure waters. This area also happens to be the centre of the Italian shoe industry and there is no better place for satisfying the quest for style and a bargain.
The property itself has all necessary modern comforts in a thoroughly traditional and rustic setting. Three apartments make up the propery together with an independent small fourth unit with double sofa bed and private bathroom.
The apartments can be rented together or separately.

Each apartment has TV and DVD, the kitchens are all equipped with ovens, Apt Martino has a dishwasher and there is a communal laundry with washing machine and iron and clothes horse. All have their own outdoor area for dining or relaxing.
