This exclusive self-catering apartment has been lovingly restored and decorated by its owners and is less than 200m walk to the well tended beaches of Porto Recanati.

The apartment is ideal for two couples or a family of four or five people. It is perfectly located for those wanting to take advantage of the wide beaches and clean waters found along this section of the Adriatic's Riviera del Conero.

For a family or a group of friends this apartment's central location just behind the seafront, yet right in the town, makes it a great base for a relaxing beach holiday and for day trips and exploration of Marche's little known charms.

The apartment itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated to a high standard. The private garden is generous with wonderful lawns which are expertly maintained and lots of mature trees and plants, providing shade and a natural oasis of relaxation and a superb place for al fresco dining.

The town of Porto Recanati itself has significant historical heritage, including its castle and clocktower. Nearby is the hill-top town of Recanati, the birthplace of one of Italy's greatest poets, Giacomo Leopardi.

To the north are the magical coved beaches of Conero, reached in quick time by regular boat services from the neighbouring town of Sirolo. The beaches in the town itself are clean and well maintained and served by a host of beachfront restaurants and bars, offering wonderful local fish dishes.

Porto Recanati has plenty of shops and bars and restaurants along its other streets too and is has a train station serving the main line from Milan to Bari, which also provides a link to the nearby airports of Ancona and Pescara, making car hire avoidable.

For those with four wheels however it is also close to the A14 motorway making day trips to Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo and Emilia Romagna an option.

An hour to the north is San Marino while an hour inland is the breath-taking Apennine scenery of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
