"On Nature's Side" is the motto at this organic Marche agriturismo, tucked away in the Ascoli hills close to the Adriatic coast, between Montalto and Ripatransone and just outside the quaint medieval village of Cossignano.

The eighteenth century farmhouse overlooks vines and olive groves worked by the family and the vineyard was the winner of the coveted environmental award, the Green Flag for Agriculture 2007.

Close by are the splendid Adriatic beaches of Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto (Riviera delle Palme, 15 km).

And this Marche B&B is perfectly located for visiting such centres of culture as Ascoli Piceno, Offida and Fermo, as well as the stunning Monti Sibillini National Park. The agriturismo includes the old farmhouse that dominates this generous country estate, with its organic vines and olive groves from which the estate produces DOC wines and premium quality extra virgin olive oil.

There are three en suite double bedrooms and an independent apartment available to rent. The location and feel of this agriturismo make it the ideal place for a break for those seeking to immerse themselves in the peace and quiet of the area and for those keen to explore the unique culture, cuisine, wine and landscapes of which this land is rich.

The estate is part of a group of farms committed to organic production. The farm is also involved in many initiatives dedicated to the protection of the environment and the countryside and its culture, in the knowledge that sustainable tourism is the only way forward.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

The rooms:

Three en suite double rooms each with space to add more beds or cots subject to need. Original traditional local furniture in keeping with the property.

The apartment:

Independent and with disabled access, leads out directly into the garden. Spacious living room and delightful well equipped kitchen and a double bedroom with bathroom and shower.

Furnished according to local country tradition and equipped with TV, radio and hair dryer. Cot available. Outdoor table, chairs and deckchairs.
