Located on a hilltop in the central Macerata province of Le Marche close to the town of Treia, Villa Rosa commands superb views over this part of central Italy. The property has been thoughtfully restored to a high standard by its owners, who spend part of the year living in the smaller attached property.The ground floor is light and very spacious, dominated by a very large living room and dining room area with fireplace, with a well equipped kitchen to one side. There is much to see and do in the local area, with the provincial capital and important university town of Macerata 15 minute drive away. In the summer the open air opera festival at the towns outdoor Sferisterio arena attracts music lovers from across the globe.The town's centre is home to an elegant fountain in the central seventeenth century piazza, which forms the focal point for the town. Also of note is the cathedral and several other buildings of architectural importance, including a tower and the thirteenth century Palazzo Pretorio.Situated very centrally the villa is also an ideal place from which to explore Italy in general, with Perugia, Bologna, Florence, Assisi, Siena and Rome all day-trip possibilities.ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
