Come to Tuscany and discover Italy at its beautiful best.

Tuscany, or Toscana as the Italians say, remains one of Italy's most popular destinations, set between the stunning Apennine mountains in the east and the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west.

Tuscany is well known as the birthplace of the Italian renaissance. Its artistic treasures can be found in the dozens of museums throughout the region. Even today, Tuscany is especially popular with landscape painters and photographers. With it's enchanted landscapes from the mountains to the sea, one is always aware of Tuscany's medieval past. Many ancient walled towns, magnificent renaissance cities, remote castles and watch-towers make Tuscany one of the worlds finest landscapes.

Tuscany's Hidden wonders

Tuscany boasts lush greenery, ancient forests, mountain walks and stunning beaches as well as the famous leaning tower at Pisa, the Uffizi gallery in Florence which houses many classic renaissance works, the stunning cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori, also in Florence, with it's distinctive dome, and numerous castles & fortresses which are scattered across the Tuscan countryside and coastline.

Bordering on Lazio to the south, Umbria and Marche to the east, Emilia-Romagna and Liguria to the north, and the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west, Tuscany is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Italy, alongside Marche & Puglia.
